My box showed up way later than I expected and the tracking really did not help much. It barely updated so I was just waiting around not knowing where it was

I found a nice selection of meats and cuts that I usually don’t see around my local stores. A few items I wanted were sold out when I checked, which was a little disappointing, but there were still enough good choices for me to place an order.

My order showed up on time, which was good, but when I opened it, the meat just didn’t smell as fresh as I was expecting. The ice packs were mostly melted, too, so that made me a little uneasy. I cooked what I felt okay using, but i didn’t feel great about the rest. For the price, I was disappointed...

The flavor was decent, but the meat came out tough and hard to enjoy. whoever runs this needs to make sure it’s cooked better, because it just wasn’t very tender.

I ordered from Porter Road for the first time and, to be fair, the process was painless. The site was easy enough to get around, checkout worked without any annoying glitches, and the emails were clear. I’m usually expecting something to go sideways with online food orders, but nothing really did this time. Still, I was kind of watching for a problem the whole way through. Overall, it was smooth and I’d probably use them again.

I order a few different cuts and the quality just wasn’t what I was hoping for. One of the steaks was tough and there’s way more gristle than I expected. For what it cost, I thought it will be better.

I really wanted to feel good about ordering from Porter Road, and I can see why some people like them. But for me, the animal welfare and sourcing details just weren’t clear enough. I had a hard time finding specific info about the farms, audits, or what the animals’ day-to-day conditions are actually like. At this price point, I guess I expected a bit more transparency. Maybe it’s enough for some customers, but I don’t think I’ll be ordering again.

I tried Porter Road once and... I don’t know, it just didn’t feel worth what I paid. The meat was decent, nothing really wrong with it, but for that price I expected it to be more impressive. The portions felt a little small too, and once you add shipping, it adds up fast. I can get similar quality from a local butcher for less, so I probably won’t order again.

I really wanted to like Porter Road, but the portions were smaller than I expected for the price. I also had a couple cuts that were uneven, like thick on one side and super thin on the other, which made cooking them more frustrating than it should’ve been. The flavor was fine, nothing terrible, but I kind of felt left in the dark about what I was actually getting. Overall, it just didn’t feel consistent enough for me. I might give them another shot down the road, but I’m not in a hurry.
